Dear Crozentale,
Sveicināti no Ķīnas. Mani sauc Li,es gribētu runāt latviešu valodā.
(↑ Are these sentences right?)
Its nice to meet you on this site. You are an awesome person and a skilled
Latvian speaker.
I'm a Chinese who want to learn Latvian,but I feel confusing…The reason why I
learn it is complicated.Anyway,I can't found any textbooks about Latvian in
China,so I bought a book wrote in English on Amazon.Within all East Asian
languages,we don't have a conception of "case systems",that's why its
difficult for me to remember different cases…But thanks god,I did it.And more
problems came,when I was creating sentences,I don't know which case should I
use for every word. And Latvians always can't understand what I said.
English is the only language based on Latin alphabets, from languages what I
have learned before. So my grammar system were affected by it…I have read
Latvian books for several months, but I still can't write at least a short
article.I have no chances to meet Latvians in real life,or talk with them
online, now I can only imitate what CD speaks.Could you please tell me,is that
real Latvians speaks like educational CDs?I thought the accent was really
weird…The announcer speaks an interrogative sentence,no rising intonation and
sounds like a declarative sentence.Vice versa. And about the rolling
"R",sometimes they speaks very clearly, sometimes they speaks like "L".All
pronunciations were not irregular…?
Now,I read book everyday, many problems brought me a headache.
Could you please provide some advices?I need your help…
Look forward to your reply.
Visu labu,
Li
